Job Description: The Exercise Therapist is responsible for administering fitness appraisals and instructing patients in their exercise program. Clientele will be those patients requiring a primary level of intervention. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

• Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology - Certified Exercise Physiologist
• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BSc(Kin))

• Experience in behavioural management/techniques

• Organizational skills
• Leadership skills
• Verbal communication skills
• Written Communication Skills 

Knowledge and Abilities

•  Knowledge and experience in behavioural management with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in multidisciplinary child mental health settings.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
• Experience with exercise testing, prescription, and instruction an asset.
• Training in assessing and treating asymptomatic and symptomatic clients.
