Job Description: The Health Educator Senior will be responsible for providing clinical education within scope of practice and policy development in patient care areas within community health. This position is responsible for providing dental screenings and providing varnish/sealant services in school settings and clinic settings in conjunction with a dental assistant. Other areas of responsibility include supervising a dental assistant, reporting statistics, coordinating with community partners, training volunteers in fluoride varnishing, and developing training materials. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education

• Dental Therapy diploma

Licenses

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
