Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) Midwifery Division is pleased to announce vacancies for provisional privileges for midwives at Chilliwack General Hospital. Members of the FHA Division of Midwifery are autonomous health care professionals and work in community-based clinics. Successful candidates must be eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives www.BCCNM.ca. They are required to maintain medical staff privileges through adherence to FHA Medical Staff Rules and Medical Staff Bylaws.

FHA medical staff members are expected to participate in Division committee work, attend regional division and local department meetings, as well as adhere to the mandatory vaccination policy as outlined in the Medical Staff Rules. For more information, please refer to the FHA Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules.

New graduates must provide a letter of reference from their residency program director or fellowship supervisor).
